no one probably cares, but finally after getting so frustrated with recording vocals that sounded muffled, shitty and didnt sound like me in playback, i went out on a limb and bought a new soundcard and condenser mic....and i would never have believed it was possible but i got my first decent recording, and it actually sounds like me! thanks to everyone that has put up with my frustrating complaints to help me and give me suggestions about a new soundcard. to anyone that has a stock soundcard especially realtek, i suggest upgrade right away to at least something from m-audio. i hear they are bigginer soundcard/interfaces but right away the mobile pre helped my problem. VERY user friendly as well and controls the gain and input volumes ALOT easier than what i was previously working with. now i just have to spend countless hours getting better at mixing
. what a relief to be actually able to record decent audio in the first place though.
