Wondering about the realationship between Mixers and Sequencers

I have just purchased a Behringer Eurorack 1204FX - Pro. I was wondering how to used it in conjunction with my Cubase VST32. And how do I transfer the sounds that are mixed on to my Cubase. Desperate! Please help!
