I have a Strat that I had someone put new pickups in for me. Hot rails in neck and middle, and Super Distortion in the bridge position. The main issue I have is that although the gain is turned up on my amp, the SD sounds like I'm on the clean channel. I tried to raise the pickup (all 3 pickups are close to the body) and it tilted towards the neck! Any ideas what could be the problem?
Also as I kept moving the switch, at one point I was almost getting no volume out of the neck pickup, but I pushed down on the volume knob and the volume returned to normal. I just got this back and for various reasons I just don't want to give this back to see if this guy could fix it. I will say one thing, I'm definitely going to learn how to do my own set ups and wiring, from now on I'll work on my own guitars.
