wiring my studio

Hi all
I am in the process of building a shed studio mainly for keyboard recording and was wanting to run my cables from the keyboards or guitars in between the outer and inner walls of my shed to my recorder. i was thinking of having a bank of rca outlets above my recorder and rca connectors situated at different locations around the shed walls so i dont need to run guitar cables over the floor. Can the wires that connect all the rca's together be somthing other then guitar cable , like speaker cable or tv coax as it is by far much cheaper. My shed is 16ft x 8ft and will probably be running cable the full length.

In a word, no. Also, I wouldn't use RCA conectors to terminate cables intended for instruments or mics. The wire connecting your studio together is not where you want to lowball.
 
Thanks for the fast reply. I will spend the extra money and do it using the proper cables, and i will stop trying to cut corners lol.
