Hi,
I have stop my search for active seven strings single coils. no body makes them . So, I decided to go with both.
has anyone done this?
does anyone knows how this is posible?
If I could get some wirings it would be perfect.
A very bad idea. The impedance mismatch will mean that you can never get your amp to sound good with both. You could, I suppose, put a buffer amp of some kind on the passive pickups, but you are going to loose a LOT of the benifit of a passive pickup. Passives have a much more complex and (to my ears) apealling interaction with an amplifier, particularly tube amps. Using a buffer amp will lose that, but it would match impedences. Bartolini makes some nice buffers, or if you are handy with a soldering iron you could make your own fairly easily. There are some good basic designs HERE.
If you like low impedence pickups, you could also try Bartolinis. They have that very flat, clean low impedence sound of active pickups, though the pickups themselves are passive. If you wanted active electronics, they have those too. Just bear in mind, if you are going with something uncommon like a seven string pickup, you will be waiting a LONG time for them. I've had it take as long as 8 months to get custom pickups from Bartolini.
