should i go with the sennheiser ew172, or the shure ulxs14??

they both are true diversity, over 1000 frequencies, and UHF...

the big thin though, is that the shure has that automatic frequency selector, does that really work?? or can i just get the sennheiser...how hard is it to pik out a frequency? do i really need to spend 100 bucks more????

givem e ur opiniions plllleeeaasseee....thanks

We have both UHF and VHF wireless mics at our church. Within the walls of our building, they are all equal in tone and reception quality. We transmit about 75' from the stage to the sound booth.

The biggest issue we have is when people put non-alkaline batteries in the transmitters. The transmitter MUST have an alkaline battery - and no more than a couple of hours of use.

The diversity electronics on both types work transparently. They just keep switching around happily and you never hear a thing.

The only watch-out about the VHF is that the local TV stations might cause interference. We haven't had any problems with that either.

I'm looking to get more VHF wireless mics/monitors. Ebay is a good place to get these things.

Good Luck!
