I'm actually merely interested in finding the right CHEAP low-distance FM transmitter that could let me use pocket FM radio receivers for on-stage monitoring.
Maybe the whole idea is stupid but usual floor monitors never get loud / detailed enough to musicians and only contribute to their hearing damage. I've already found the right in-ear headphones for that purpose, the Sony MDR-EX082, which is a cheaper version of EX90 and although there's no difference in sound quality between those two models, EX082 costs way less than $20 shipped unlike EX90 which is way over $80...
Are there any troubles associated with reception and/or sound quality?
Are those "iPod FM transmitters" sold cheaply everywhere a good alternative?
Thanks a lot for your help...
