I reloaded this pOS XP 64bit version...its seemed to have wiped out everything.

I had been ignorantly using this XP 64bit edition, from a long time ago. Google and other things were so sluggish, I reloaded my Windows disc (which was the horrific XP 64bit edition).

I had done this before and not lost anything. But this time all the music, tracks, jpg's and word docs...are gone.

My old printer can't even seem to work any loinger as the drivers are mainly 32bit and this XP 64bit, dead and undeveloped Windows product seems to have my pc FU^&*D.

Its like in a purgatory between the 32 bit world and 64bit world.

In the meantime, waiting for any helpful inputs....
I'll search Craigslist for a full version of Windows XP 32bit cd...I don't have much info to lose at this point, and see no other way of removing this POS Windows 64bit that seems very difficult to interface with the "older stuff".

moral of story- backup your "stuff" regularly onto a seperate drive.

and Windows XP 64BIT is vomit.

You should always back up your files so this will not happen.

Does not matter if it is Windows or a Mac. Hard disks can fail and you loose everything ....Pics ...Music .... etc.
