windows xp or 2k?

hi!

i was wondering which system i should use for my studio-pc!
i will only choose windows as i'm working with it since years and haven't ever tried anything else..

but now i dunno if i should really pick xp for recording, as i just have 256 mb ram. further am i not sure if win 2k wasn't even more stable in this matter of usage..

This topic has been beat to death in this BBS.
I use 2K for the simple reason that it's less resource hungry.

Do a search and prepare yourself for the results.
