Are there any problems with windows XP Professional and Audiophile 2496 drivers, n-track or ACID? I want to get networked to my next door neighbor, and he wants to convert me to Windows 2K, because he says that XP sucks. Any thoughts on this?

I run Win Xp Pro and Audiophile 2496 and it works great. See my post "I have a big problem - Please help me ", just over your message.

XP home and audiophile 24/96 here, no problems to speak of, but I don't run those programs.

I've had some problems with that combination in the past, but they were due to me running software that wasn't fully XP compatible (Cakewalk 9) and having a fairly complicated video capture card (ATI All-In-Wonder) which created some driver conflicts.

I would not say there is any major problem with that combo.
