WINDOWS ELECTRONIC STATIC SOUND

I have a electronic static noise and a very slight beep sound when for eg-open start menu etc when extention windows appear or ,opening and closing different windows I will get this sound not loud but sounds very electronic and very annoying ,...Yet another windows 98 problem...yuor help is always appreciated

ive gotten that problem also i have an ensoniq soundscape card u know the 25 $ ones
and it comes and goes though, i just try to catch it on a good day and record really really fast b4 it starts happening again
but i wont have to worry about that anymore prolly cuz my bro just got a delta 66

Hey Guys

My old Ensoniq Soundscape Elite would do Exactly that in a PII or later M/Board...IRQ2 is normaly taken up in these boards.....that was the prob in my case anyway....
