Window wells as bass traps

I've got two large window wells towards the rear of my basement studio control room. There is probably room for two rolls of Owens Corning Fiberglass in each of them.

I'm wondering if I could use them as a bass trap of sorts.

Or not...

How about if you just keep the windows open? Can't get better bass trapping then that!

Yes that will work. If you unpack the fiberglass, fill the cavity and cover with fabric, it'll work even better. - As long as you do not have access issues.
