Hello guys,
I've started a thread on the mixing techniques section regarding how to make heavy rhythms seem wider to see if I could apply anything to my mixes. I decided go and tweak a few things on this mix I'm working on, and would like to get a little feedback. I normally post on Soundcloud, but I feel like it's really degrading the quality. Below is a link. Thanks in advance.

There's too much in the centre of the stereo image.
There's a lot of mid mud & the guitar in the centre dominates the frequencies that give cue & clues to placement in the stereo image.

you got some slight level ducking (don't think anybody will notice) its slightly muddy when the leads kick in apart from that this kicks arse, foooking nice work :D

gotta ask what your tracking with ?

edit:- ^strike the above line i just read the "Question on Mixing Heavy Rhythms and the stereo spectrum" thread, looking forward to your next mix test :D

Hey thanks a bunch! Yeah, I need to do those leads over with a different tone and maybe less reverb/delay.
I lowered the rhythm tracks a bit during that section, I think that's the ducking you're referring to.
And yeah, it's all done through the axe fx and the typical Toontrack stuff for drums.
Thanks for listening and chiming in.
