Will using R-10 instead of R-13 make any difference?

I need to insulate between two walls (Room in room) to cut down on resonating chamber effect, will R-10 do the trick?

Yes. R-13 will keep your room temperature more even. R-10 is a very low insulating value.
 
Bill, I think Seeker is being a bit sarcastic here. either will probably be enough from an accoustic standpoint. Seeker is saying that the R value is a measure of thermal efficiency and nothing to do with accoustic performance. fro example styrofoam has excellent R-value but useless as socic absorbtion.
