Will this Setup work? *Picture included*

Hey all,
Im just workin my brain overtime on this, maybe im thinking about it too much, but im wanting to put instruments into my mixer, to then send to the recording inputs on the delta 44, but to then bring the outputs of the delta 44 back into the mixer which will be used for monitoring?
Is this possible? what do i need to change? / add to my setup.... diagrams welcome!! ( woulf prefer them actually with a little explaination )

hi kpnutz,

you won't need to bring all 4 tracks back for monitoring, you can just bring back a stereo pair (route all the tracks you're recording to a stereo pair output, say 1/2). other than that, everything you have there is fine. just make sure that the tracks that you are sending TO your soundcard are not also going TO your monitors via the mixer (otherwise the signal will be doubled).

Just run a pair out from the delta into the 2TR In on the MG, and monitor from the CR Out

The trick to your problem has to do with plugging your audio sources into your channel inserts on each channel of the mixer board, only partway in. Read the article and understand.
