Will this computer work well with Reaper?

It's an Acer Aspire V 15 V3-572-734Y 15.6-Inch Full HD Laptop (Platinum Silver).

Processer: Intel i7-5500U (Dual Core)
Graphics: Intel HD 5500
RAM: 8GB

I like to game as well, so I tried to pick an inbetween a quad and good graphics laptop.

Yeah, Reaper's really small footprint (doesn't hog resources). Should work fine on a dual core 8GB machine...dual core i7 freaks me out Just seems weird to harness that kind of horsepower and only give it four threads...

I ended up not getting it. I found a laptop near me that's decent enough to run on. It's an i5 with 6 gb, HP. At the closest Best Buy.

I run Reaper on one of the lowest machines that will boot up with MS. That software would probably run on a Raspberry Pi if there was a supported OS.
