Will Music creator 6 provide a decent reverb?

Hi. I haven't done any recording for about 12 years but when I did it was mostly hardware driven by midi. Recently my friend called asking if i could add a reverb effect to a song we recorded. I remember using an Alesis reverb (great hall I think) on the song to preview it for him, and he loved it but I never put it on tape or CD. So my question is will Creator 6 provide a decent Reverb? I have never used a software recording package before, is this a good place to start? I built my computer to do video editing so I don't think that will be a problem and I would like to get back into recording! I should add I sold my hardware long ago.

Up fronts out of the way.. I'm on Sonar love it, have Pyro and PyroCreator bought for the mp3 converter and cd burning, and they're not cutting it. (Silly major failures) So only to say, I'm to keen two for two on their low end apps.
Maybe Reaper? Way affordable and lots of folks like it.
