will cool edit pro 2 recognize the edirol ua-1d

hi. i'm just wondering if anyone knows if cool edit pro 2.0 will recognize the edirol ua-1d (spdif to usb converter).

my computer reaches all of the requirements, so that won't be a problem...i've just heard that the edirol works with most editing software...does that inlcude cool edit pro 2.0??
