nd767a x3 (unnatural but fairly cool)
sm57 x2 (zingy)
sm58 (honky)
re320 (what a giant piece of crap this is)
re20 (a little too airy and thin but fairly good)
re27 (piece of crap)
at2020 (dont remember it and dont care)
at2035 x3 (shits annoying as hell with its somewhat zingyness to it i guess its the transformer)
at4040 (dont remember i was stupid shoulda kept it only paid 200 for it but the more concentrated sound of the sm7b sold me for a while)
sm7b (too cottony and makes me sound like a duck but i did like it more than other mics)
mk4 (massive piece of shit)

while aquiring nuying and selling these mics id say ive lost around 500 dollars. (SHUT UP)

i have 320 dollars left to spare and not a dime more. i looked at akg 214 its a piece of crap i looked at bluebird and even though its more articulate and bright ive decided its a fragile piece of crap. i am left wanting a at4040 and am fully aware that its not perfect.

i have given up on music. i will be using the mic for broadcasting and commentaries on youtube like so:




shoulda got a blue snowball id have like 900 dollars right now but i had to live in fantasy land.

Yeah. Some gamer who thinks that a -$50. blue snowball USB microphone is better than all of the industries standard broadcasting classic microphones.

And lets give him a big hand at how well he uses every swear known to mankind in every post he puts up.

I pity him when he discovers that all these mics sound totally different in controlled environments.

I mean, does he honestly think he's discovered that some of these mics suck, and no one else ever noticed?

Yep...he's got about 2 or 3 other names too, all banned. That's why we banned him.


Also, any numbnuts who thinks the re320 is a piece of crap shouldn't be allowed on HR anyways... :D
 
I'm surprised he made it this long without a ban for all of the link plugging he did.
 
Part of his problem was most likely just his speaking voice. It was very quiet and pretty weak, and he is probably not realizing that is how it sounds on tape. Everyone's voice sounds fuller/better in their own heads, after all...

Yeah I watched his commentary and he wasn't all that good. His video game playing was real bad.
