OK...I have this computer program that came as a download and it came in 6 ziped up folders. The first one has the setup icon. I clicked it and it gets about 20% thru the installation and it asks for disk 2. Which Im assuming is in folder number 2 of the download. But there is no browse button to select the 2nd folder with. Anyone know how to install programs like that???

Can you upzip all the files into one directory? ... usually if all the files are in one location it shouldn't prompt for a new location.

I usually set up a temp directory on my c: drive.

Hope this helps,

Porter

Porter is correct. Usually you can just dump all the files in one directory. It sounds like a old install fro the days of floppys.

The only reason you may have to put them on floppies would be if each file/directory contains a seperate "disk ID" file, which wa used to distingush which disk was in the drive. Its something you don't see anymore in the modern CD era.
