Wierd "click" when I put pressure on the bridge of my takamine EG-560C

I thought this was intereference, dirty pots or my patch cable in my setup but its actually coming from the output of my new(ish) Takamine (bought last summer, never used w/amplifier until now).

Still has the original TK4N preamp... any suggestions? It's due for a string change so i'm wondering what I should be looking for.
 
Just a guess, but maybe a loose undersaddle pickup.

The pickup is usually a ribbon transducer that sits under the saddle and if it is not seated perfectly, or if the saddle is a bit out of square, you could get all kinds of odd pops and such. Are the strings balanced in volume - or is one louder / quieter than the others?

If that's it, you have only a minor adjustment issue. No biggie.
