After pondering getting a new sequencer I have decided Sonar 2 is the one for me. I have used a emagic logic, Cakewalk Pro audio 9, and was last using the wonderful n-track and acid combo. After messing with the sonar Demo all weekend I am amazed! Rock solid stability, wdm driver rock with my wave center pci, The new dsp fx are stunning the acid looping rule. here is my favorite feature thought. The guitar midi editor(s). being able to pop notes in on the guitar neck is awesome ( I loved it on pro audio 9) and sequencing using tablature is awesome too. This is why i love cakewalk..they are the most guitarist friendly of all companies. It may not be a big deal to most but to me it is! Olus the street price makes it a best value...puls cakewalk support, anmd noi dongles! I will be ordering sonar 2 real soon ( it shipped yesterday!)
