why i hate asus

so my asus motherboard has a crappy secondary ide channel that works very infrequently. pretty annoying so i called tech support. they dont even care. so i have to pay money to ship the piece of shit back to them. convenient. im gonna go live in the woods.

Sorry to hear about your experiance. However, on the flip side, I support a building full of PCs, the vast majority of which are ASUS motherboards. And I have 4 PCs at home with ASUS motherboards too. I would consider them one of the best brands. But even good manuafacturers occasionally put out a dog, just too bad you wound up getting barked at.

It also reminds me why I always pay a few extra bucks to buy gear locally, so if I do have to return something I can just go back to the store and talk to a real person.

I've got a Asus A7V133-C that will sometimes not detect my harddrives on boot for no aparent reason.
