Why do people flip their condenser mic upside down?

So you have SOME beer down there worth NOT spilling then? I say that because you have exported Amber Piss to us!

Mind you there is a Carlsberg factory here in my home town! You can have as much of their dishwater as you like!

When I was allowed to drink I was a Guinness man.

Frankly, I still prefer British beers. However, I have to say that Aussie beers...served very cold...make more sense down here in the hot temps than they did on a cold drizzly British winter evening.

(Worth saying that most "Austalian" beers in the UK are just names--things like Fosters are brewed there under licence.)

I like Guinness but probably drank more bitter--Wadworth's 6X was a particular favourite.

And, just to pretend to be on topic, my two main reasons for an upside down mic (when I do it) are to avoid obstructing a music stand (as mentioned) and also because it tends to improve a vocalist's posture and therefore projection.
