Totally off the bbs topic, but about canadians...... I recently was in LA, and also Florida... I realized that yes. it is true, we do say "EH?" alot.... and a few people pointed this out to me... I never really noticed, I thought it was just a misconception.....For instance, i went up to the Thrifty Desk at LAX, and said "I need to rent a car eh"... and the guy goes...."So where in Canada are you from..."... One misconception, is that it is always freezing here, and we live in igloos with parkas on constantly.... When I was in LA 5 weeks ago, It was warmer up here in canada, than in LA at the time... I got on the plane in Toronto with shorts and a T shirt on, and got off in LA, and had to put on a sweater...... Our summers, get hot, It's not uncommon, in June to see 90-100 degree temperature, and people on the beach suntanning.... But NOOOOOOOO you Yanks are sure, we are on the back of sleds with dogs pulling us through blizzards....Year round...My wife had a convertable (brand new, and smashed it 5 weeks after)... we were cruising on a december night, with the lid down, it was like 70 degrees...... That was '99... Bruce might remember that warm December up here...... anyways, this post is going nowhere, so i must cut it off..... sorry, but you can see, im bored and felt like adding useless info to the thread.........
