Thanks for the feedback! Yes I do track with headphones and will follow your recommendation to remove the headphones from one ear for reference.
 
Hello all,
Who'd believe it..I have resolved the problem with accessing the file. The file now resides in the shared folder. Please visit the site: www.idrive.com type my user name, james17 in the visitor window, and click on the Shared folder. I tested the path on the wife's computer and it worked. Thanks for being patient with me as I work through my computer ineptness.

A heartfelt tune, no doubt...emotional...I think the bass could come up some but that's just me....I think maybe with the liberal use of string sounds, the v.humana sounds are maybe overkill? Again, maybe just me...Do you use monitors or headphones to mix with? The reason I'm asking, the vocal seems to be a bit off key...it's pretty easy to get off key while adding vocals to tracks, I do it all the time...I find I have to really crank the monitoring volume in the headphones, and have one ear out in the real world while I'm recording, to sorta get a feel of where I'm at key-wise....nice love song......gibs
 
Sounds great to me. That's a lot of reverb, what brand is it. The flow of the song made me think of Mike Oldfield's sound, and that ain't bad.
 
Nice song. The vocals need some work, the phrasing seems a little rushed at times and other times a little off key. More piano may help pick up the flow of the song. Great start, I hope you are able to post a future version of this song.
