I liked the newsgroup...
And they're closing it tomorrow...

Well - I'll get used to it I suppose. But the folks in the newsgroup are a bit upset. I think TTS are making a mistake.

Well, I was talking in general. But even so...
No, I think people have a tendency to run with glossy and hip instead of substance. There's also a tendency to believe that new stuff is better just because it is new...

That sucks...

A WWW-forum has lots of overhead, and limited bandwidth.
Ever seen a newsgroup get to crowded like this place around this time?

Now, where did I put my MSDOS 2.11 and Cakewalk 2.0...

Makes you wonder whether AW-Marketing Guy was being entirely honest when he said the manuals were already printed, hence they couldn't give homerec.com/bbs a plug in their online resources????????
