Who Sells EL84 and 12AX7's CHEAPEST? I'll Buy From Homerecording Forumites, Too.

Got a Carvin amp that has NO TUBES! I don't know if it even works, so I need some CHEAP tubes to put in it to try it out- 4 EL84's and four 12AX7's. Doesn't mater what make, who sells tubes the cheapest? Anybody here have any take-outs they wanna unload for next-ta-nothin'?

JJ or EH 12AX7's for $10/each. A little more for matching.

There's no real advantage to matching the 12AX7s. There can be an advantage to swapping them around to see which one sounds best where especially for the phase inverter.

The brands suggested by c7sus are good tubes. especially those JJ el84s. I personally prefer the new Tung-Sol 12AX7s but they are a couple of bucks more and that wasn't what you asked for.
