Who is using Reason?

I had heard good things about it, and with the sale I purchased, but I am curious as to who likes it and how how one gets best effect from this soft synth?

What say you all?

I've used it a bit, and it's not really a 'softsynth'. It's more of a 'soft studio'. It's awesomely cool, and you get the best 'effects' from it by using it in combination with whatever other stuff you have whenever you need the things that are in Reason. The synths are all OK, which means that they are great compared to otehr softsynths, except the Malstrom, which is simply amazing compared with anything.

The sequencers are fine, although I haven't played enough with the track sequencer to really give a verdict.

It's a very easy to use package, and if you are using mainly softsynths, I'll bet you'll pretty soon find Reason to be your main sound source.

I use Reason. But I only use it in sync with Cubase SX via Rewire. I dont use the Reason's sequencer.

And yup, I agree with regebro, Malstrom is simply amazing!

It's a lot of fun, but I'm still fumbling in the dark a lot. Finally bought the tutorial CD-ROM. Haven't had a chance to use it, though.
