ok,i've had a lotta problems with n-track after paying good money to upgrade it. i give up after a year and a half.what should i go to around $300 or less? Sonar?jw

hehe,i'll remember that quote. especially after getting a ticket going 80 in a 60 in Ibberville,La across the henderson swamp. well,if i don't pay $186 in a month they'e put a warrant out for my arrest. screw that,i'll never go to La again. i was on a biz trip gidge or i would've stopped by.TexRoadkill said:A 'Loosianan' giving a Texan shit about english is kinda like 2 blind people arguing about painting.
In this case I would defer to the Argentinian for proper English usage.
i did see sonar for $300 off the internet.Dolemite said:Its out now. Should be $300 or less.
hehe, yes your english is terrible but i understood what you were sayng. music(and musical talk) is an international language. and i value your opinion. vegas sounds good. i need to find a demo of both vegas and sonar and compare.jwNicolas said:Look, I try whit cakewalk sonar but I dont like it. I think the sound capture is horrible. Vegas has the same sound capture sound forge has. Yesterday I use sonar and dont like it. I think that cakewalk it great for midi but not else.
I hope understand couse my english y feel like a western indian.
HOU!
Nico.-
well questionable english is at least getting me some good info.hehe. i think midwesterners(not chicago either) and californians speak understandable english---most of the time anyway.ChuckU said:Nicolas,
Even with the Delta -1010 you don't like the results from Sonar. No lo creo! I used to use a Roland VS-880 hard disk recorder and I can hear a great improvement over that with Sonar and the 1010.
I have the version of Vegas that came with my Delta 1010. Maybe I'll try it. Estoy curioso.
No te preocupes. You can't go far in the USA without people speaking Spanish.
Gidge, Tex, everyone knows that we folks here in New England speak the proper American English. "Pahk the Goddamn cah heah!"
damn whoopy, you sound ed-u-ma-cated. is that the exact translation? not that i doubt you but just wondering if it was word for word.Whoopysnorp said:Wow, more people speak Spanish than I thought! I'll translate what nuestro amigo Nicolas said for anybody who cares:
I think that if you use Sonar for wav recordings you aren't going to get the same results as with Vegas which is a program made exclusively for that. It's like trying to comb your hair with a fork instead of a comb, that is, you can do it but the result isn't the same. Cakewalk is great for MIDI and Vegas is great for recording. My advice is that people use Vegas. Vegas has 100% compatibility with Sound Forge and its plugins and you can put volume, pan, and effects changes in specific places in the tracks. The only problem with Vegas is that it crashes more than Pro Tools or Nuendo but its interface is much better than those programs. A lot of people use Pro Tools or Nuendo with a Mac, which doesn't crash. In summary, Vegas is incredible.
que pasa? me un piquito espaneol. uno mas cervesa? gracias senior! i have leftover spanish from high school. like---i wanna beer!Whoopysnorp said:That's pretty much word for word. That's what one learns how to do by studying Spanish in college.
De nada, Nicolas.
