Which would you prefer . .. . . .. .

I know of the portabilty issue, but do you think it's better to get a all in one workstation or get the each piece of equipment dedicated to each job seperately. I guess I'm trying to say why get a workstation that handles sampling, sounds, sequencing good, when you can get a each piece of equipment that dedicated to it's job like a sampler, drum machine, sequencer and sound modules?
 
Separate equipment

I think you should go with separate equipment. Basically so you have more of a selection of sounds and more. Thats what I did :)
