Which Version To Get?

What is the difference in these versions?

I looked at them, and their descriptions, and was still unsure. SL? SX? Academic Versions? Should I get the one with the reference book? Or the one with the tutorials? I have a Mac, just to let you know.

SL is the same as Cubase SX minus some of the features. Think of it as SX Light. You will want to read up and see which one will suit your needs because there is a bit of a price difference between them.

Academic versions are the same as the retail versions but you have to prove that you are a either a student, or work in the academic field, or are a theological institution or a pastor/minister and the like. You can get pretty good discounts if you qualify.
