I like the V67G on acoustic in my vocal booth. Didn't close mic it because my booth has a good sound for acoustic guitars. I'd like to say I planned it that way but it was a good accident.

You'll have to be a little more precise in describing the vocals. Even then there's no substitute for actually trying different mics for your vocals.

I don't have experience with either, but bearing in mind that both are good mics, and have pretty different sounds, v67 and c1. These two should do the job IMO.

Actually, Harvey Gerst feels that these mics are pretty similar.

I've have the C1 and the V67 and they are both nice mics. To my ears they are different flavors. Then again, I spent the 70's holed up in my room with Black Sabbath blasting in my headphones. YMMV. The C1 is brighter and has more top end. The V67 has less top end, and a less "airy" sound. I've used both on vocals with great success.

I'm not impressed with either for acoustic guitar. Depending on your taste, I'd suggest looking at a Studio Projects B1, MXL 603 or Oktava MK012 for guitar.

For <$200 I think I'd get the V67 and the 603
If I had <$300, I'd get those 2 and the SP B1. You'd be pretty well set with that.

I have the 67 and the 77, and I tested a C1 but didn't buy it.

My favorite right now is the V77. It's a little cleaner than the V67 but with some body. Still, the V67 adds something nice to my voice (which is thin and weak). I love the exaggerated proximity effect.

The C1 also sounded good to my ears, a little crisper. I didn't buy it cause of my limited budget - not because I didn't like it.

I also have the SP B1, btw. I really like it as a utility mic, and it serves well as a vocal mic for voices that are too powerful for the V67.

Well, of those three I would go with the V67G, based on price/performance. As for the second, I would actually look further afield than another LDC but maybe get a quality dynamic like a Beta57

Honestly... the C1 is a brighter sounding mic than the V67G.

ADDED: Also if you do a search... I think Harvey posted pictures of the insides of the C1 and V67G and compares the contruction of the two... and he talks little more about them in detail.
