Mic A (adk Hamburg)

Mic B (Octova mkl-2500)

thanks!

From what I'm hearing, I'd say the Hamburg sounds like it suits your voice better, at least for this style of music. The problem with it sitting in the mix isn't that the Hamburg is too bright; it sounds about right to me---maybe not quite bright enough, but in the ballpark. The problem is that everything else in the mix isn't bright enough to match it.

I don't know what mic you're using on the acoustic, what preamp you're using, or what sort of processing you've done, so I can't give much more advice beyond that I'd bring out the high frequencies, particularly on whatever mic is picking up the finger noise. Ditto for brightening up the electric bass a little.

Thank you.. I had to put this together last minute for thing that needed to be done tonight. I'll post the whole song (as it is) up in the mp3 mixing clinic forum. Tomorrow I'll try bringing out the highs a bit more in the rest of the mix. Thanks again!
