Hi, I need a simple soundcard for my home PC. one mike in, one line in, and one spk out.

I record drums with a drumcomputer through a line in. Therefore I need a SIMPLE card, that has GOOD recording sound, and above all.....

DOES NOT HAVE A CONFLICT with my ASUS A7V KT133 chipset based mobo!

I currently have a Terratec BASE2PCI, which always worked fine on this mobo, until I installed XP. Now I get clicks and pops when recording. I never was aware of any people having problems with soundcards on this behalf before... Anyway, since newer drivers for XP support will never be released, I need to move on...

Any of the Echo stuff should work fine with that MB, since it is KT133a.

not quite

It's not quite KT133a. it's KT133.

I have a classic A7V, originally revision 1004c. (FSB of 200 max.)

You may be mistaken with the A7V133..

I don't know if there's a (big) difference. . . .

Echo says it will still work. I've got an original KT133 MB with a Echo Mia card, and it works fine.
