hi
i am starting my own home studio for recording my bands and my friends, and i want to go the computer way into things.
I have a choice of soundcards that i could buy, either an Echo Darla 20bit, or An Audiophile 2496?
I will be running from my Mics into a Yamaha 12/4 mixer, then into the soundcard. The most number of mics i will be using at the moment is 2, but as i get some more money i will try to get a complete drum mic kit.
Which card would be better for my situation? Is the Mixer OK for what i want to do?
Would it be worthwhile purchasing an Audio Buddy dual mic Pre-amp?
Whats the difference between an AKG2000B and a Studio Projects B-1 in terms of the sound output???
