I had Cakewalk HS9 for a few years. It's good but I want something with much, much more. I just got an Audigy2 card and it came with Cubasis VST. I think it's better than Cakewalk (so far) but I still would like something more. I had my eye on Cubase SX. Is that a good choice to go with?? I know that there are a few different ones out there (around the $400-$600 price range). What would you guys recommend and why?

SECOND PART:
If I do go with Cubase SX, what are the improvements or differences from Cubasis??

its simple as finding out what "much much more" you want, and look for the software that has those features.....

I use Logic 5.5 Platinum. Some may say its too much and too difficult. But once you become familiar with it, its like any other high end program. I can testify that its very stable and professional. I dont think I would use anything else because I have become very familiar with it. Once you learn a program well its hard to switch. But I can honestly say I have no reason to. Logic performs well and I've been very satisfied.
