I'm a home recordist, mainly recording demos and promotional disks for my bands, occasionally for friends as well.
Somehow, over the years, I've managed to accumulate a number of small diaphram condensors. My main overhead mics are a pair of Russian Oktava MC-12s. In addition, however, I also seem to have acquired the following additional pairs:
Chinese Oktava MC-12s
MXL 603s
CAD e70s
My current thinking is to get ride of the 603s, but keep the Chinese Oktava's as back-ups to the Russians, and the e70s for something a little different. Alternatively, I could part with the Chinese Oktavas as well.
Anybody have any other ideas?
