hey all, I have another question.
I have realized that some rooms that I record in make the recording sound better than others. Why is this? How do some rooms make recordings sound good or bad? I have noticed distinct differences in recordings I have done in different rooms, and I hope it is not just me. Help. Please. ~la

acoustics....sound reflecting off walls and ceilings at different distances with different material on or around the walls and ceiling changes the sound.

well ok. That makes sense. What would be the ideal room structure to record in? thanks. ~la

its really up to you depending on what sound you like...for vocals...most people like the closet. i have so much crap in my room that theres not much sound reflection so it does the job
