can people put this in the best order for me please for linking up just to double check.

Computer
Preamps
Headphone Amp
Multicore
Rack Gear
 
i dont know what a multi core is


MIC>PREAMP>RACK GEAR>COMPUTER>HEADPHONE AMP
 
ok thanks wasnt sure wither the rackgear was before pres since there for the indiviual mics.
 
all rack gear is after pres yeh? effects everything ? Mic>Multicore>PRes is alqays first?
 
and my headphone amp will come out the delta 1010s outs yea?? or what?
 
should anything go between the mics and the multicore cept the wire ?
 
Dude, chill out with your posts. It's like reading verbal diarrhea. Put all your questions in one post, think before you post, and wait for answers. Most of these questions should be in the Newbies forum, too.

Right, bollocking over :)

You need to bring you mic signal up to line level before you can do anything with it. Therefore the first thing your mic signal does is go to your preamps. I wouldn't recommend using a multicore unless it is not a cheap one ... is there any particular reason you can't just plug your mic straight into the pre?

Preamps output to whatever dynamics or FX you want to add, or straight to you computer. Then obviously you put your monitoring chain afterwards.
