Which one should I buy?!?!?!?

Whichever one is harder to shove up your ass is the right one........

You're asking a question like 'What should I get... a can of tuna, or an air compressor.'

If you are hungry and want to eat, get the tuna. If you want to sand blast your side walk, get the air compressor.

So the question is, what do you want to do with the mic you buy? Answer that question and folks can help you out better.

Thanks for the input old friend!

However, I planned on recording mostly my voice and possibly my acoustic guitar and not the inside of my butt. I have exactly $199 so tell me which one is the best!!!!

Save your $199. The world is already filled with racist images, speech, and music. I'm sure you don't have anything to contribute that anyone would find of value.

For acoustic, I find the C1 too bright. As for the Luna, never tried one. How about this.... A Studio Projects B1 for the guitar, a 57 for voice? That keeps you under $199. (I guess you don't have to pay tax or shipping?) Who knows what will sound best with your voice, your guitar, in your room. My suggestion would be to go out and try some mics and see what you like. But don't limit yourself. There are a ton of mics under $199. See what one(s) work for you.

EDIT: Did I just walk into a mine field?

I used to have a website with awesome jokes on it. A small percentage of people who looked at my site were unable to realize that they were jokes and were offended because they were either:

1. old
or
2. stupid

EDIT: I walked into it alright. I took him as a newbie. Seems there is some history I didn't know about. I'll know better next time.

See, it's stupid ass remarks like these that will keep you from getting good answers from most of the good folks around here. Not that you would listen anyway. And besides, I thought you knew everthing about audio/recording/mixing/mastering/production/composition/........
Why do you want the opinions of a bunch of stupid old assholes.

Well, the c1 is long and skinny, so I think it would be easy to shove in my ass. The luna on the other hand has that big lollipop shape on the end, therefore I would have a harder time stretching my hole and getting it all the way in there.

I guess I'm getting the Luna!

Neither...do some more shoppin' and listening and just a little more saveing...Look into the Shure's and AT's

Well you seem to have a pack of admirers here, but you haven't pissed me off yet, so here's a tip. Fotr a guitar/vox mic, condenser, under $200, AKG C2000B. $180 new, works well on both.-Richie
