Ok, I'm shopping for a new condenser, because, well, I'm addicted to the diffrent sounds they can bring to the table, and ...ok, I'll stop there, anyways...

I want to record male vocals, mid-low to mid-high vocals,
these will be rap/R&B tracks...now, which do you think is better suited for the vocals, and why?

Please, don't add any more mics to the list, this is what I have it narrowed down to.

Rode NT1-A
AT4040
AT3525
Rode Broadcaster Mic
Studio Projects C1

All of these are $300.00 or under, not that it matters much, but, what do ya'll think?

I'd say the 4040 as well, given that it's the successor product to the 4033.

Hey, shAkEz_gk, what happened to your quest for the perfect sub-$40 dynamic? :D

Thanks, I'll be coppin the AT4040 THEN.

And for the dynamic, lol I'm still lookin.

It's like... I get money, I see a mic I could use, INCASE a certain situation ever arose, and I buy it....3 days later, I see another I just "cant" live without.

It's a vicious cycle lol
