I need serious answers. Lol Using Apogee, thought about Spark, then bluebird...
So I guess I'm back in the market for a mic
I record only on my ipad and prefer it that way. It's smoother for me.
I purchase
the apogee mic before Spark Digital by Blue came out. And it works great
I was going to upgrade to
the Blue Spark Digital when it came out strictly on the "Blue" name. I've heard great things and Maynard from Tool prefers Blue Mic's lately.
But Fuck Blue. I must have written them 3 immersive letters. They blue me off.
Nevertheless I still want the best (affordable) mic for my needs.
I searched reviews on the spark digital when it came out. 3 stars everywhere. Wow. Impressive. I passed.
But I was on the net today (I know I'm impressionable too) and saw
reviews on the spark are generally at 5 stars from what I saw (probably Blue's secret site. LOL!!!) I want a secret site. Go here for now soundcloud.com/anemicme
Then I saw the comparison between the spark and the bluebird (now we have Mic's resurfacing from X years ago to overtake the brand new release by Blue, that's so weird to me.)
I guess
the blue bird is $100 more and a lot of people have passed on the Spark on te web here and chose the bluebird
Impressionable as I am now I'm thinking the bluebird is the way to go.
I like all types of bands but my main thing is hard rocking alternative. Think Coheed and Cambria (coheedandcambria.com)
simply looking for a noticible upgrade from the Apogee. Surely Blue giant can squash my bug
Thanks guys. Sorry for being long winded. It's my nature!
