I am rookie rapper , interstd in recording OCs and covers , please suggest me mic is best for rappers for recording purpose at home , keeping price factor in mind ???

What's your budget?

Yes - what is it? "Price Factor" mean nothing.

But to start you off - the Gefell M 930 Ts is a good little large diaphragm condenser mic. with a transformer that gives it that sound that a lot of people like.

Review PDF is HERE.

What are you recording with, singh.rajd?
For if you are just going straight into your computer and have no preamp or interface - you can only hope to get an USB microphone.

I would never ever recommend a USB microphone to anyone it's far too restrictive.

The best option is to get a USB interface (the CEntrance MicPort Pro is the simplest) and then plug your choice of microphone into that.

Go with Rode, they are f***ing good. We used them together with a Brauner Phantom and different Neumann microphones and had a lot of artist prefer the Rode. (Beyonce prefered the Rode K2 over the Neumann microphones).

I would go with a Rode NT1-A or a NT1000. Go to a store and test them.

I like my NT1-A, but there's plenty of people that don't like them. You should try and compare a few in the space you're going to record in.

That was the point I was trying to make ... in a round about way.
Was just waiting for singh.rajd to chime back in to set him straight.
