... mic that will be used to pick up the abient sound of a room? I already have a Shure-57. These are the mic's I have in mind; Shure BETA-57, Rode NT-3, or AKG C1000. Any other suggesions, I'm all ears!

Is it best to get a condenser or a dynamic for this situation?
