Which LDC would you use to bludgeon DJL with?

Cut it out, guys. I'll arm wrestle with DJL any day of the week but I really, really hate to see a thread show up just to take a poke at the guy. Is that all we can manage on a slow night? How about thanking him for sharing some knowledge, even if he does get off on a tear too often.

First, I'm not here to bash DJL, but- if you do need a mic to bludgeon someone, these girly condensers won't cut it. I've got a *real man's* mic for that- Shure 55C Unidyne. The original single element cardioid dynamic. Like the Elvis mic, but BIGGER- housing, mounting, and connectors of solid steel, red silk lining to soak up the blood. You can run it over with a Hummer, and then check to see if you bent the frame. Come on down. I'm waiting for you wusses with your Brauners and Gefells.-Richie

Ill second the Shure 55c. Before this is done though, most of us would still like to hear one of his recordings. Im not holding my breath though.
