i would like to use a soundcard on a laptop. And pci isnt an option. Do you think an M-Audio Firewire 410 soundcard is good? If not, which do you think is better in the same price range.
Personally, I'm going with the Motu 828mkII simply because it not only has gobs of input/output, but can be used as a stand-alone mixer (without the computer) in my rack for gigs..... to me that's worth a few hundred more for the utter convenience.
