I'm looking for a basic but complete reference on digital recording. Came across these two:

Principles of Digital Audio - Ken Pohlman
Art of Digital Audio - John Wilkinson

Opinions on which is better? Any others you like?

Thanks --

Bob

I used to have this orange paperback, must have been about two hundred pages or so, and I lost it with my copy of "Zen of Guitar" when I junked my old '86 Taurus. Wish I could remember the name of it, or the author, cause it was such a handy reference for laying the groundwork and building on it, in the digital domain. Very down to earth book that was both interesting and educational.

Yo Sounds from the River Sweet:

Check Electronic Musician's site; they are also tied into a big book outfit that covers all of the bases. But, you might send them an E-mail and specifically detail what you want. You can't get it all in one book but you can start somewhere. Also, check out this site; it has tons of stuff if you have the time to browse and make copies.
