I'm looking for a piece of equipment that will easily allow me to swicth between 4 sets off speakers using the same output. I.E. When mixing down I want to be able to hear it on my monitors, then easily switch to listen to how it sound on my surround sound, or normal PC speakers etc.

If there is such a thing, what is it? What's best?

Thanks for you help guys!

Such a thing does exist, but the only place I have seen one was on car stereo retail sales displays, which allowed the buyer to a/b/c/d/etc. different pairs of speakers. The good news is that if you can find one available, you can probably get it cheap, the bad news is finding one will be difficult.

Rat Shack probably still sells an a/b/c unit for home audio, too. I may have one around here that I am not using.

There are loads of these around, Mackie Big Nob for 1 allows you to select different inputs and route them to different speakers, it's not a cheap option tho...

Thanks guys, I searched google for 'cheaper alternatives to the Mackie Big Knob' and came back with the Samson C Control. Decent bit of kit by the looks of it and fits purpose! $99 so much cheaper!
