Incanus and I just finished our first release - it's off to print.

In the meantime our humble one-room studio gets:

114 sqf of broadband absorption (burlap covered 703)

288 sqf of 3" auralex wedges(whole celing, 2 x 4x8 and 2 x 4x6 sections of wall)

New paint, of course.

Fake wood linoleum floors

Monitor isolation pads

Black Lion Converter and Analog stage mod for MOTU 896HD

DAV BG-1 2 channel mic pre

Josephson C42mp SDCs

A real studio boom and sabra t-bar and shockmounts

Carvin Vintage 16 tube amp




Total damage is just under 3400.00

We'll take pictures as we go.

Thats fantastic. Those kind of budget bursts are rare for me. It's all the little shit that adds up. Hell, I've got two synched 16 track machines and cabling for those alone took a years budget
I see you are in Sacramento. I lived and played in Sac for 30 years. Lots of memories there. Whereabouts Supercreep? I lived in Citrus Hieghts. Moved to Oregon 3 years ago though. Thank god.

I'm in South Sac. Incanus is out near Arden. Oregon sure is pretty tho.

The Black Lion mod may have to wait a bit.. They're booked out through July as it is anyway. I think I want to do my monitors and the converters at the same time. Everything else is here or on the way.... must...check...ups..tracking..
